With an overflowing heart of jubilation, I am honored to announce that Hattiesburg, Mississippi, will be the hub for the 2026 May Family Reunion!
May 2026 will be more than a gathering—it will be a celebration of our roots and a testament to the power of our family name. As we continue to stand on and nurture the foundation established by those who came before us, we are reminded that, for generations, our family has been bonded with loyalty, love, and togetherness.
Giving God all the glory for blessing us with this priceless tradition—one that is not just an event, but a legacy. The May Family Reunion is a spiritual space that allows us to reflect on our faith, laughter, stories, and love, all intertwined like branches of our family tree.
We sincerely remain thankful for our extraordinary organizers—Mr. Dan May Sr., Mr. Cassill May Sr., and Mr. Lenell May Sr. Their personalized approach to our reunions, is more than a system—it’s a demonstration of the love and wisdom that runs through our bloodline. There has never been a need to change their system because it works beautifully. However, we lovingly make additions to keep our tradition innovative and full of life.

Our Philosophy
Our family strives to be a place of unconditional love and open communication, where we support each other's dreams of a bigger and better reunions while showing kindness and respect. We appear to have good decision-making! We try to cultivate strong bonds with a unique sense of purpose and identity that strength unity, belonging and a moral compass.
Our Services To Each Other
We. have family members that volunteer to be host/hostesses of each years’ reunions. We make sure there is plenty of food, and family involvement. Our organizers wanted volunteer host or hostesses to make sure that all 8 clans comes to the loving realization that they are needed; then, they will allow us to witness their ideas for the three (3) day convention style protocol reunion that make each years’ reunion exhibit different ideas, culture, adventure and enjoyment!

NO REGISTRATION FEE BUT CONTESTANTS MUST RAISE MONEY FROM DONATION TICKETS AND HAVE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS as:

MUST HAVE A 2.5 SCHOLASTIC AVERAGE (ON A 4.0 SYSTEM)MORE MONEY RAISED, TALENT, FAMILY OUTREACH, COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT (SUBMIT RESUME), INTELLENGENCE AND ARTICULATENESS AND CHARITABLE CHARACTER.

TOTAL TABULATION AMOUNT DISCLOSED ON SATURDAY NIGHT -June 27, 2026- by ELSIE ROARK after the gala during the business meeting!
2026 host do not want to be included in disbursements; therefore, disbursements go to: 2025 hosts, 2027 host/hostesses,CONTESTANTS, College graduates, clans’ sick, clans’ birthdays, and clans’ death.
After deduction of 25%, Mail balance to: Elsie Roark, 110 Meadow Lane, Hazelhurst, MS 39083
AFTER DONATION IS GIVEN, PUT NAME AND PHONE NUMBER ON THE BACK OF TICKET AFTER DETACHMENT OF NUMBER FOR DRAWING.

Charity for us to give and share with others never become obsolete. A charity legacy was etched into the minds of our ancestors and must be in ours As a descendant, we are alive together, but, we will not die together. We must learn a kind of charity and a kind of tolerance in giving which is absolutely vital to the continuation of human life on this planet.”

1. One CONTESTANT FROM ONE of the eight (8) MAY clans;
2. The amount donated and a 2.5 scholastic average ( on a 4.0 system)
