As the 2026 host of the May family Reunion, I am proud to welcome all to Hattiesburg, Mississippi! I think we all utilize and are thankful for our organizers: Mr. Dan May Sr., Mr. Cassill May Sr., and Mr. Lenell May Sr.'s personalized DOCUMENTED conventional style approach protocol to our reunion, and WE NEVER CHANGE IT, BUT WE DO CONSTRUCTIVE ADDITIONS. We work with LOYALITY, LOVE AND TOGETHERNESS. We understand that we ARE BLESSED BY GOD TO have a precious and unique cultural reunions. THIS IS ONE OF OUR MAY LEGACIES.
Our family strives to be a place of unconditional love and open communication, where we support each other's dreams of a bigger and better reunions while showing kindness and respect. We appear to have good decision-making! We try to cultivate strong bonds with a unique sense of purpose and identity that strength unity, belonging and a moral compass.
We. have family members that volunteer to be host/hostesses of each years’ reunions. We make sure there is plenty of food, and family involvement. Our organizers wanted volunteer host or hostesses to make sure that all 8 clans comes to the loving realization that they are needed; then, they will allow us to witness their ideas for the three (3) day convention style protocol reunion that make each years’ reunion exhibit different ideas, culture, adventure and enjoyment!

We, as descendants, desire to continue the tradition of charity from our ancestors and extend it now and to exemplify it for the future generation. Charity for us to give and share with others never become obsolete. A charity legacy was etched into the minds of our ancestors and must be in ours As a descendant, we are alive together, but, we will not die together. We must learn a kind of charity and a kind of tolerance in giving which is absolutely vital to the continuation of human life on this planet.”
Judges wll be scaling the following skills: .
1. One CONTESTANT FROM ONE of the eight (8) MAY clans;
2. The amount donated and a 2.5 scholastic average ( on a 4.0 system)
3. Family outreach; e
4. Community involvement ( submit resume);
5. intelligence articulateness and have a charitable personality!
